"Taking Care of the Best"
The Campbellsport Firefighters Auxiliary was started on September 30, 1980 with an objective to serve the members of the Campbellsport Fire Dept. and others working with them as well as the community as needed. In that time meetings were held on the first Tuesday of the month at 8:00. On November 4, 1980 the constitution and by-laws were put into place. At that time the yearly fees were $2.00 per year. The auxiliary's main purpose is to serve food and drink to members of the fire dept. during fires or practices.
Today the fees are $5.00 per year, and meetings are called to order whenever they are needed. CFD Firefighters Auxiliary is always looking for new members to help carry out the mission of the firefighters auxiliary. The main fundraiser for the auxiliary is during the annual CFD Picnic on the 3rd & 4th of July where they run an Ice Cream stand. The auxiliary also has several brat fry's all over town during the summer. If CFD is blessed not to have many fires the auxiliary will donate to the community as needed. The Campbellsport Firefighters Auxiliary is happy to help in any way possible and the Campbellsport Fire Dept. Members are thankful for that.
