Shift schedules for Ambulance #400 |
| CFD Ambulance 400 is staffed 24/7/365. During the weekday there is a schedule made out ahead of time for the entire month. Day duty runs from 06:00-18:00 (see Day Duty Schedule). Scheduling is done by utilizing members free time during the day to staff the ambulance. There are 5 squads set up for each weeknight, that runs from 18:00-06:00 (see Squad Schedule). During weekends the weeknight squads rotate and are on duty 1 of 5 weekends from 06:00 Saturday and go until 06:00 Monday. On holidays that fall on a weekday the weeknight squad is on that whole day from 06:00 to 06:00 the next day. If any member is unable to be on duty for their shift it is their responsibility to find someone to cover for them as long as they are unable to cover their shift. |
