7/14 CFD responded to power lines sparking on Timberlane Dr during a nasty storm. CFD was also dispatched for a fire alarm at the VERIZON Building on E. Main St. but were cancelled for a False Alarm.

7/11 CFD Responded with Engine 402 and Brush 403 to a two vehicle accident at Hwy G and Hwy SS. A car went through the intersection and hit a pick-up truck hauling a boat. Flight For Life was called in for the driver of the car and the driver of the truck was treated and released by Ambulance 400. CFD had to use extrication equipment to remove the driver door of the car to get the patient out safely.

7/5 It was a great 4th of July Celebration yesterday at the CFD Picnic. A nice long parade, with wonderful weather. We had some great food sales of delicious food. The car show went over well as did the bands. We had to dodge a bullet though for the Fireworks, thank goodness for the rain breaking up. Thank You to all for supporting the Campbellsport Fire Dept at the 2010 CFD Picnic.

7/4 Yesterday was a great day for the picnic. Today will be the same. We have the car show starting @ 8:30, parade noon, free pony rides, Good Time Dutchman, & Six Pack after parade. Great food all day!!!! New Life playing tonight. Fireworks @ 10pm. Come join our fun and have a good time

6/26 CFD responded to a tree on fire in a swamp on Airport Rd in the Town of Osceola. CFD was on scene for about 15 minutes to extinguish the fire while walking in almost knee high water.

6/22 CFD responded mutual aide with Mount Calvary to a structure fire on HWY W in Dotyville. CFD responded with Ladder 406 Tankers 410 & 405. Upon CFD arrival the fire was knocked down and returned a short time later.

6/22 CFD Picnic is only a few weeks away!!! Some finishing touches are being put on the planning and the fireworks are getting closer to being complete. The picnic will be a great time this year, FREE admission to Oil Can Harry on the night of the 3rd. It will be a great time, come out and join our fun.

6/11 is CFD's first week of red shirt Fridays. Red shirt Fridays is the Fond du Lac County Fire Departments wearing a red t-shirt in supporting our troops. These shirts are to be worn on Fridays only in supporting out troops.

6/7 Congrats to the Firefighter 1 students passing their practical this past weekend. Only if they could get the results of their written test. Upcoming picnic is the Beechwood Picnic and Parade this coming weekend!!! Please support local firefighters! Remember these area fire depts. help us out when we have fires, so go support a fire dept. that assists your own.

5/31 The Picnic Season has begun. In the past weekend CFD Waterfight team took first place at the Boltonville Picnic. CFD just doesn't want to give up first place to any other team at Boltonville. CFD also participated in the Parade in Boltonville as well. Come out and support the volunteer fire depts during this picnic season. Next weekend is Newburg Picnic!!

5/25 CFD Responded for a mutual aide call with Lomira Fire Dept. CFD was paged for a fully engulfed barn fire on Butternut Rd. just east of Lomira. CFD responded with Tanker 410, and Ladder 406.

5/22 All eleven members passed the practical for Fire Officer 1 yesterday. CFD was also at the Elementary School Carnival with Engine 402, Ladder 406 and Ambulance 400. CFD members also got some more work done for the firefighters memorial at Firemans Park.

5/19 A busy week for several CFD members, 13 members are taking the Fire Officer 1 Written Exam tonight, as well as six members taking the Firefighter 1 Written Exam tomorrow. Not to mention on top of that it is National EMS Week. Good Luck to all testing!!

5/5 CFD Firefighters memorial is going great especially for the recent wet weather we have been having. The concrete is poured forming the main part of the wall.

5/3 CFD responded to a grass/junk pile fire shortly after 1500 on Ashford-Auburn Dr. There was a grass fire that surrounded the pile of old logs, and stumps. CFD responded with all units and called Kewaskum for tankers. CFD was on scene for a few hours putting class A foam on the large stumps and logs.

5/1 CFD Assisted in training on for a Moraine Park Firefighter 1 class at the training tower. Crews practiced fire attack, search and rescue, ropes, and hazmat for their state test.

4/27 CFD has begun construction on the Campbellsport Fire Dept. Firefighters Memorial at Firemans Park. The foundation was poured yesterday, it is expected to be complete by the CFD Picnic!!!

4/25 CFD hosted training today for a Moraine Park Tech College Entry Level Fire Fighter Class. Today at the training tower students were able to do many scenarios in a short amount of time. Students were able to experiment with different types of fire extinguishers on the burn pan. They also were able to do a search and rescue in a smoke filled room without a hose. The last and most important situation was the live fire, students went in a second story window went downstairs and did a search and experienced what live fire feels like.

4/22-24 CFD had six members go down to FDIC in Indy. Some equipment was purchased at a discounted show price, saving the dept a lot of money. CFD also was looking at equipment for next years budget as well as new techniques and new equipment out on the Fire/Rescue market.
